Dear future teachers,
EC2U is the European Campus of City Universities—an alliance of seven universities: Coimbra (Portugal), Salamanca (Spain), Poitiers (France), Pavia (Italy), Jena (Germany), Turku (Finland), Iaşi (Romania). One of our shared goals is to give future schoolteachers the opportunity to gain intercultural experience in classrooms in (or near) other cities of our alliance.
Welcome to the European Classroom: Schools in each of the seven EC2U partner cities are offering voluntary classroom internships for student teachers enrolled at any of the seven partner universities during the 2022-2023 school year.
The internships: Each school offers a unique classroom experience for student teachers—from language assistance to job shadowing to project support. You’ll find internship postings and more information on the application process and requirements on https://ec2u.eu/ec2u-classroom-internships/.
Funding: These voluntary internships are unpaid, but the EC2U coordinators at the applicants’ home universities will assess applicants’ eligibility for Erasmus+ or other funding to support the stay abroad during the internship. See https://ec2u.eu/ec2u-classroom-internships/ for more details.
Apply now! Application deadlines are mid to late June 2022 for most of the internship positions.
